One Of Our Posts Is Missing

Hello Acting Fans, fellow bloggers and People of the Worlds. Yep, it's Friday and it's time for a blog.... Now can any spot the (not so) deliberate mistake, yes, we are missing a post, no, not a fence post - the Wednesday Blog (Whoops! We have had a busy week though with work and prepping sometimes these things slip our minds, especially this Wednesday as Blog Writer/Editor Chris failed to foresee a colleague's leaving curry might lead to more shenanigans. Bad Chris!)!

What's been going on then? Well we did once again get a meet up this week and planned out what we need for the shoot we had this week. Hold your horses, WHAT? Yep, that's right, folks, you've read that right we have been filming! In fact it was yesterday (Thursday 26th June) we filmed at once again the Old Cock in town. Before I write anything more I must give a BIG 'Thank You' to the Landlady of the Old Cock for once again letting us film there. As well as letting us film the Summer Special there last year just before their drastic re-fit. So THANK YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOU!

Anyhoo we got ourselves (that's me, I and Chris) and our regular extra body Logan Darkholme (soon to be Daniel Kilburn, yep, he's getting hitched soon) to get this latest Actor's Log done. And as a testament to us we are getting better no animals or actors were harmed and no props were left behind. Ah, well, one did get broken though, Chris got a bit overzealous with the item he picked up cheap off Ebay for the shoot. Oh, dear. The Art of Comedy demands some sacrifices! We armed ourselves up in one of the back rooms, somewhat away from the public and too much ambient noise and set to it. Well, there was one thing we didn't have that was a print of the script! We are both currently without working printers, bah! Now this wasn't a problem as it first sounds, as me and Chris are getting better at learning our lines and improvising too (I mean, we have been working on H&H for a couple of years now, so we should know the characters inside and out. After all they are us.) Plus Chris had had some last minute ideas about some extra funny business that weren't in the script, so with Logan/Spyke/Danny (they're all the same person, remember) dressed up as yet another different character we set to it and, well, I can successfully say it was a very fun and good shoot. Normally we take more time with an extra cast member but once again it was a easy working with Logan as he always puts in a good performance and we have know each other years, too. Also we didn't give him any lines, and at one point forgot to give him any direction. Ooops!

With all the shots in hand it was back to H&H #2 to pick the shots and then Chris was off with his stick drive to edit. And, folks, it was all once again done in one day, ready to go live THIS MONDAY in fact, yeah, just in time for June, right down to the wire but still the June Actor's Log nonetheless!

Well, that's all for now, folks, see you all in the Future......

Pad & Pen

Yes, Acting Fans, you've made it to Humpday once again and, before the swift slide to the weekend really kicks off, here's the midweek status of H&H Production. The wheels are well and truly in motion at H&H HQ with furious effort being put into the preparation of places for the Big Move. Fortunately Vern was able to break off from the relocation activities to once again meet up wit me at the local Nero's, we'll end up regulars if this keeps up. Importantly he had also brought his H&H notepad & pen, of course.

The new format meet-up with the addition of proper coffee is proving to pay of dividends too, as after a bit of a catch-up and chatting about this & that we did in fact get around to actual H&H business. And, boy, did we do the business! Yes, we ended up with 4 or 5 more rough ideas for upcoming Actor's Logs, meaning including last weeks efforts we now have 8 or 9 ready to move into development and that's not even going into the possible new format shorts we look at!
Since that Tuesday get-together Vern has had his nose to the grindstone (well, to his PC Monitor) and his shoulder to the wheel (okay, his fingers to the keyboard) and has expanded 3 of the Actor's Log ideas into first drafts, which I am currently giving the once-over. Which I shall now be leaving you to get on with, so that's all for now, Folks...

The First Cut Is The Quickest

Welcome back, Acting Fans, fellow bloggers and people of the world's Internets. Yes, it's Friday once again and my turn to bring you up to date on what has been happing down (and then up) at H&H HQ.

Well after a very successfully and fun shoot on Wednesday, having got everything that we needed too (even going back and shooting a bit of extra coverage after we had initially done for the day, we are getting better at this filming lark, honest) and as Chris said in the last blog, I can confirm it was the last shoot of this location, and soon it shall be on to the next place for H&H, the keys are nearly in different hands as I write. We also have some more vlog drafts written and nearly ready to go as well as some more wild and wacky idea's for the future don't you folks worry about that .

Anyway, back to the latest shoot, so with all of the footage in hand and having picked out of the footage which shots we wanted to use it was then off back to the Editing Suite it all went with Chris on his handy stick drive (which he'd actually remembered this time). The edit was started the following day, it began by Chris locking himself in his Editing Suite at 11o'clock, then cutting and pasting away. Mid-afternoon Thursday, I was surprised by a text message from Chris that he had a first cut that was already ready and waiting for my eyes to look over it. So it was brought on down to H&H HQ for me to look over, after being warned that he had been pretty brutal with the cutting to try keep the runtime down, I stuck it on my PC to give it a long hard good look...... and it was all good! I do believe this has been one of the fastest turnarounds on any video we have ever done for H&H.

From it's writing to filming to edit to me saying "Yes, it's good to go", it was done and dusted without any additional cuts or notes from me required. (See, I told you we were getting better at this filming lark!) And that was without any simplifying of the script or cutting corners, well, apart from a cheeky bit of prop flubbery which some keen-eyed Acting Fans may be able to spot! So when can you all see this next Actor's Log? And perhaps do some flubbery spotting? Well, I can tell you it shall be live this very coming Monday (the 12th) for all to see! Oh, and please do post it anywhere and everywhere. Please. Pretty Please. We need those hits!

Well, thats all for now folks!

Oh, Shoot!

A hearty Wednesday Welcome, Acting Fans, and it's been a busy day at the soon-to-be-former H&H HQ! Yes, we've been at it again, thanks to someone finally remembering he needed to shave only just before setting off for the Set. (Oops!)

The Goss, the Biz!
Now that picture might not look like business but let me assure you it most certainly is! Specifically the business called 'Show'. Yes, after the 2nd Bank Holiday weekend in a row, with the deadline of Vern & Co.'s big move looming ever closer, we got our skates on and ourselves together today to get on with the shoot for the final Actor's Log to be filmed at H&H HQ Mark I. Yes, that's all at the flat folks, but fear not H&H will continue!
After a brief runthrough the lines whilst sorting out our costume and props, we withstood the heat and got into the kitchen to kick things off. With a flub or two, a bit of ad-libbing and some improvisation, we got through the shoot but not without some flagrant paper and soft furnishing abuse. It is in the can after all that and having helpfully remembered to bring my flash drive stick this time meant it could go straight back to the Editing Suite with me.
Hence this rather perfunctory blog entry, I've got some uploading, trimming and pasting to do! so, yes, for now that's your lot!!!

Training Day

It was all going so well with props in the post and a vlog about ready to go, so really something had to go wrong. Yes, the two weeks shifts that took me out of the H&H loop have knocked us off track more than we realised and, due to additional circumstances this week, the next Actor's Log has been unavoidably delayed.

Yep, No Denzel for me.
I had forgotten about two things, you see, one was Mother's Day this coming weekend and the other being the Training Day I volunteered to take part in this Wednesday. No, I didn't get to hang out with Denzel Washington but I did learn the basics of First Aid at work, no, not that work, the other work. There was also a third thing as it turns out. After leaving my 2nd job's premises following the course finising I promptly headed home...and collapsed into a snotty, shivering mess as this ear infection/cold/whatever these godforsaken germs are came out. Urgh. That's why your Wednesday blog is coming to you on Thursday and the next vlog is (temporarily) scuppered. And why now I'm off for another hot drink. Vern will have more for you lot on Friday but now I'm off for tea amd sympathy.

Good Omens

Hello, Acting Fans and the rest of you - you know who you are! Yep, it's Friday, Friday, friday gotta get down a blog about what else has been happening since Wednesday, Wednesday, Wednesday. Well as Chris is busy working away, we haven't had a second meet-up (as we've tried to get into doing two in week, it seems to help us stay in the groove and get things done) so other that some preparation for the next Blog not much as been happening at all I'm afraid.

Other than me learning some of my lines for the next Vlog, oh, and doing some research of my own into some plots of the ol' movies. Why look back at old movies for the next blog? Well, this isn't actually for the next blog but further ahead - it is in fact part of the Top Secret, For Our Eyes Only, Ultra Classified Furture Plans of H&H, which have spun out of what we talked about in last week's blogs. This is something that may be quite a bit  of the way down the line but we need to start to get things sorted out for it as it could be a big project, well, for H&H Productions anyways.

Me and Chris shall be meeting up again soon which will involve a costume test/fitting and a line run through, then it's of to film the vlog and, fings crossed you all should be seeing it very quite soon, soon indeed. You see, we've had a good omen today as our required bit of proppage for the vlog that we'd only just ordered turned up on Chris's doorstep this very afternoon (it's lucky his Mum & Dad were in to meet the postie too), how's that for service, eh? As to what it was, well, here's a clue...

Mystery Prop!
Enough, that's your lot for this week!

Until next time - TTFN!

McConaissance Reconnaissance

Greetings, Acting Fans, it's bad news again this Wednesday as once again my day job has taken me out of the H&H equation - don't ask me what m'learned colleague has been up to, once again we haven't even got together yet this week! I even have to admit I've been bad and haven't even made my usual first pass at the next vlog script yet, Naughty Chris! Enough of what I haven't been doing, what have I been doing?
Well, after work I have in fact found myself getting caught up in a fresh, exciting new cultural movement that started in 2011 in the United States - yes, I'm talking about the McConaissance. That's right, the stunning second act of Matthew McConaughey's acting career. I am a total convert. After not initially rating the Texan and dismissing him as a pretty-boy actor for years I decided to check out 'True Detective' due to the absence from my telly of the programmes I usually watch (yes, I was right in the middle of a 'Doctor Who' & 'Person Of Interest' drought). I'd heard positive rumblings about the show but dismissed it as yet another cop show with a bit of stunt Hollywood casting. Oh, boy, was I wrong!
Both McConaughey and his co-star (and real-life buddy) Woody Harrelson absolutely knock it out of the park!

It's a frankly stunning bit of Telly that's as much about deconstructing the form as it is in showing the mystery with a hint of Cosmic Horror to boot, whose creator Nic Pizzolatto has been open about the work of comic book writers Grant Morrison and Alan Moore. So, yes, the story is pretty much Chris Catnip but that would mean nothing with out the great central performances. Now, time to stop ogling other peoples' creativity and get on down to my own!

I, Spy (Family Extra)

Hello, Acting Fans, fellow bloggers and people of the Internet! Well, yep, it is Friday and it's time for the blog post, so what have we been doing. Well, alas and alack (mostly a lack of Chris) we still have not been able to have a meeting as Chris is busy with work, so nothing much has been done, But well sort off as I on and off have been looking on YouTube to find a clip of a show I was once in. Yep, like Chris I too have been on the tellybox, as an extra that is.

The show was a kids show called 'My Spy Family' and all I can say (much like the BBC 3 S***com (I'm not being harsh - it really was that bad) 'The Gemma Factor' that Chris appeared) in it, well, it's not the best kids show ever. Let's leave it at that. Sadly since I didn't have Satellite TV at the time it was first broadcast I never got to it. With our more recent H&H escapades I got to wondering about that footage of me beaming through outer space and, after search on and off on YouTube, what do you know? I found the it and, after looking through some of the episodes, checking when I did the filming and a bit of guessing, I found the two episodes I was in! And now you too can play 'Spot the Harcourt'!

I bet you're wondering, why, why is this important? Or is it not important at all and are you just blog filling until somethings gets done? Well, yes. And no as my appearance in the show is also going to be interwoven in to Harcourt & Haigh somehow, so there.

And how are we going to put them in to the show? You'll just have to stay tuned to find out!

The Long Way 'Round

A warm Wednesday welcome, Acting Fans, here comes your midweek H&H blog. This time it's a bit about process. The hardest part is always staring at that initially blank page, wondering where to start. And, because we're gluttons for punishment, we've decided to set ourselves that challenge more frequently by starting the regular (at least monthly is our target) Actor's Log.
Now quite often it's come down to Vern & I meeting up at H&H HQ and knocking our heads together until something resembling an idea falls out but the past two Actor's Logs 'Snog' and 'Flog' both seemed to emerge almost organically from the conversation we had during one of our H&H get-togethers when we hadn't explicitly met up to do some writing, just a bit of forward planning was the original intention. With that in mind, we decided to try a more relaxed approach at this Tuesday's H&H Pow-wow. Starting with a cup of tea and a chat about an upcoming gig we're attending (Matt Berry from I.T. Crowd, in case you were wondering) we got on to film and got around to Hong Kong cinema (we often get around to Hong Kong cinema, it is Vern's area of expertise after all). Last time we'd met up the conversation had turned towards 'Infernal Affairs' and it's (IOHO* unnecessary) western re-make 'The Departed' and Vern had re-watched it as we weren't entirely sure we remembered exactly how it ended. This and discussing how it had a more 'straight' plot-driven approach than most HK films reminded me of something I'd been meaning to tell Vern. I had been hoping to attend an event in Liverpool the Sunday before to drum up support for a play based on Robert Anton Wilson's Cosmic Trigger, unfortunately I wasn't able to get there but it being in the back of my mind as we talked reminded me of Ken Campbell's tale (in a 'Video Letter' to Wilson) of how he got turned on to Jackie Chan. After making a hash of the story myself, I thought I'd get Vern to watch it on Youtube instead:

Greatly amused by the tale of the ghost of Sir Laurence Olivier naming Jackie Chan the greatest living actor, I recommended he watch a great interview with the late Richard Harris (who it turns out is Vern's preferred Dumbledore) and to be honest I wanted to watch it again too.

All four parts of Harris ended up giving us an idea for some background for Harcourt as well as a few bits and pieces that may turn up later H&H stuff. What has all that got to do with the Actor's Log, you may ask? Go on then - ask!
Well, with our thought turned to Harris and such contemporaries as Reed and O'Toole the idea for the next Actor's Log emerged, almost of it's own accord. To say any more would be [SPOILERS] but I guess we're going to have to try this again, the long way 'round seems to be working.

The Times (Well, The Location) Is A-Changin'

Welcome, Acting Fans, bloggers and people of the internet, time for the next installment of H&H bloggery. As Chris said on Wednesday there sure are some major changes in store for H&H HQ. One really big change, in fact, as it is moving, and quite soon too!

H&H HQ..NO MORE?!
Yes, my flatmates and I are moving but luckily not too far! Of course that means there could very well be a brief Hiatus until everything gets sorted out. Even as all that is going on though, we are still going to try getting on with what bits of episode 6 that we can do in the mean time. Indeed, we hope to start doing some filming soon. We have also talked about some future projects for H&H and about extending the world of H&H so stay tuned for that folks, H&H Productions will persevere.

Don't worry, we shall keep you up to date on what is happening, well, don't we always?

Sorry it's a short one as we still have a lot of work to do. Preparation is key!

Riding Like The Wind

Greetings, Acting Fans, welcome to this week's Humpday, yes, we're halfway to the Weekend, folks, and we've been busy at H&H HQ. Forget Vern ushering me into the age of 37 with his musical stylings of 'Wild Thing', 'Bad Moon Rising' and 'I'm A Believer' at a local cocktail bar on my Birthday night out - we've been busy on actual H&H stuff too, particularly on the Vlog front. We got two of them shot and edited this week and the first of them to go up is live right now, just in Valen-time for Valentine's Day!

Yes, take heart, single Acting Fans, love could strike at any time, any place but while it hasn't yet try keeping busy. How? Well, even as it threatens to snow Vern and I are moving on with trying to nail down the filming of the elusive 6th episode of Series 1 and as it turns out we need all the help we can get. Yep, we're saying that...

If you're no longer content to just sit back and watch H&H unfurl and would like to get involved in front of or behind the camera then get in touch with us at the H&H Gmail account: handh.tv@gmail.com.
We need as many warm bodies as possible for this ambitious Season 1 finale and are looking to move on it as soon as we can. In the mean time stay tuned to the H&H channel as Next Monday we have the next Actor's Log ready and raring to go! That's all so far this week, Internet Chums, so...

Winter Wonderland

Seasons Greetings, Acting Fans! Welcome to the last H&H blog of 2013 as Vernon and myself enter the spirit of the season and our very own Winter Wonderland, yes, a Winter Wonderland where we spend the Winter Wondering what exactly we do next in H&H. Of course, if you feel we've been good this year you could always give us the best pressies - by heading over to Youtube and giving us more views and likes! Especially our seasonally-apt vlogs right here:

Anyway, internet chums, keep yourselves warm with the thought that, despite our usual hiatus at this time of year, OUR thoughts will mostly be on what WE can do for YOU next year (apart from when we're too full of booze and/or food and/or both). We've already met up this week to do a little planning about the basic shape of what we'll get up to next year as well as a bit of brainstorming, yes, we even managed to figure out what happened in Bangkok (but we're still not going to talk about it for now, [SPOILERS] and all that)!
Now the weekend just before Christmas approaches (and, somehow, I find myself working every evening of it - bah, humbug) and as I said we'll be signing off on the blog until it's time to welcome you all to the world of tomorrow - or until we actually have something to tell you about H&H related, of course.
To all of you Acting Fans, Internet Chums and Fellow Bolognauts out there on the interwebs and beyond both of us here at H&H HQs wish you the very merriest of Christmases and a very Happy New Year (of course it'll be a Happy New Year - there'll be more H&H)! If you've been good we hope you get your Christmas wishes and if you haven't, well, we forgive you but do try to do better!
And, of course, don't forget after the Doctor Who Christmas Special, the Queen's Speech and any turkey tryptophan-based comas to get tuned back in to H&H for any updates. Happy Christmas to you all and to all a great time!

I Do It To Myself

Though sometimes I get a little help.

Greetings, Acting Fans, another late missive on the H&H production blog from a tired co-creator and, frankly, spent editor. You see, despite me spending all of my only full day off this week editing the next part of our extra special seasonal vlog, m'learned colleague was kind enough to remind me it was MY turn to blog today. So nice of him to volunteer. Volunteer the information, that is. Thank you so very much, Vernon.
Yet I can't hold too much of a grudge against my fellow actor at large as ultimately it's my own fault. Yes, it was me who, whilst showering, suddenly had the phrase 'A cartridge and a late fee' pop into my head whilst musing on the upcoming season of good cheer. Bah, humbug. After staring at an all-too-blank blog screen wondering exactly what to write, I have fallen back on that old adage write what you know and this is it.

I know the first part came together all too easily. This part, not so much. To be honest, I'm thankful for some of the tricks I've learned in the progress of H&H otherwise Thursdays travails would have taken so much longer. After a day of wrestling with both shots and doubts I got a first cut done in time to run it past my colleague with some time for me to do more editing if necessary. Happen a good job too as on our mutual viewing it soon became apparent that, despite my rather ruthless approach to cutting, the first cut still needed more ruths removing from it. Back to the editing suite went I and, if I say so myself, did a great job of cutting it down to the quick. Showing no mercy, I got Part 2 down from an unwieldy 8.17 minutes to a sleek, sexy 6.29 minutes and done in one day - all it took me was a skipped lunch and innumerable cups of tea.
That's right, Acting Fans, the task was completed - so keep your beady little eyes peeled this Monday for Vlog#4 Part 2! That's all from H&H Productions and me this week - I'm off to write a letter to Father Christmas to ask him for a decent computer and editing software. No , not for me. For Vern, that'd be a great gift for me.

Christmas Presence

Welcome back, Acting Fans, people of the world wide webs and fellow bloggers. Yep, it's Wednesday blog again (at least this time I didn't forget)!

Just what have we been doing down here at the H&H HQ? Well, just in case you haven't seen it we put up the 4th actors vlog on Monday, yes, and video log number 4 has a very seasonal flavour, it's the 'Yule Log' and it is here, just under this text what you are reading right now for you to watch!

OK so you've watch it right? RIGHT!?! So what else have we been doing? Well, as we said in the big Friday post, we went o'er hill and dale to our sister town Huddersfield, where we were drawn from life, yes, live and in character and I can say it was a load of fun. For being sat still that is. Just a note to self: next time pick poses that don't hurt after a few minutes, as being stood in the same pose for up to 15 minutes can be a bit of a killer. Forget poses with your arms stretched, even 5 minutes can be bad - or maybe we need more exercise!

There's nothing to it...VOGUE!
On the following Sunday me and Chris did a quick meet-up to view the vlog that you have just watched and do a very quick pick up shot for the second part with a bit of additional dialogue recording. As always I am not going to tell you what the pick up was as it would, well, with an appearance by-
Whoops! Almost let the cat out of the bag there! Well that's most of it for now and I guess we'd best get back to it, and we shall see you on Friday!

Christmas Wrapping

Welcome back Acting Fans, fellow bloggers and people of the internets to this erm...erm...what day is it? Oh, yeah - Friday blog! Yep, as some of you more eagle eyed fans of you might have seen that there wasn't a Wednesday blog and I bet you might be wondering what happened to that there post. Did we have a break down? Were we abduction by Aliens? Was there a computer melt down? An Acrimonious divorce? Well actually none of the above it was we a much boring reason I just plain old plum forgot about as we were very busy down at the H&H HQ.

What were we doing that made us forget this important update to the people of the world? Well acting fans we were very busy filming another video for the actors log. Now this has a special theme to it AND had lots for us to do  (so much for simple short and quick!) but in true H&H style we got on with all of the various shots in our short space of time. With only our wits about us (and our Xmas shopping list of props) and some idea of how it was going to be we managed to Ad Lib our way through!

With everything set up and went for it, and it was a fun day as we were flying by the seat of our (lounge) pants. And having a laugh and getting through this long sequence of events, as for this one there was no really script, we just had the list of the items that we at use and off we went.

Boy, did it takes use a few takes to get things right and we were only on the first item on list, yep, I kept on losing on what was the third line that I said. So after all of he laughs, fluffs, spittakes, cracking, cat herding and more laughs we got through to end and it was time to do some close-ups, which meant going back over the footage to see how and where things stuff was held so this time it would match up and defeat our old nemesis CONTINUITY (see we are learning)!

Then the rushes were rushed off to the edit suite (Chris's bedroom, natch) for Mr Haigh to edited it down into a watchable Vlog but more on that...sooon, so now you're all up to date on what's has been happing over here at the H&H HQ!

FOR REALSIES!!!
Oh, and as one final note me, myself and Chris are going over to Huddersfield tomorrow (7th December) to participate in a live life drawing session of Harcourt & Haigh at the Packhorse Gallery! Yes, that's right, no content with corrupting the Internets H&H are invading our reality as well! So we shall be immortalised in the medium of drawing and maybe put up in a gallery for all the world to see. Well, for a few weeks anyways.

That is all for now, I did say it has been a busy week.

Technically Hitched

Hello, Acting Fans, and welcome to this Not-On-A-Friday Friday Blog post coming to you late only partially because Vern is rubbish at remembering to remind me now that we are splitting the blog duties when I forget but mainly because we have had a SNAFU on the technology front.

It started out so promisingly too, a lot of the props we need for our upcoming next bit of filming were mostly a matter of gathering things together we already had. We did however need certain images creating and printing out. Now I collated these images earlier in the week and on Friday I thought I'd take the time on my morning off to get the printed out. Unfortunately the Printer's Devil struck and nether of the printers in the house could manage it. Bugger. We needed them sooner rather than late. And Vern doesn't have a printer that's good enough for photos, or work at all as it turns out.

So it was that an initially simple task became more difficult and led to me trawling round various Halifax Printshops to see if they'd print off photo quality images for me, after a lot of traipsing about and a lot more of just being fed up with this I ended up getting the assistance Totally Locally from Halifax's resident Photoshop, Janet Green's. All this palaver plus some ancillary stuff I needed to sort for myself meant the blog completely left my mind, sorry, Acting Fans, so here it is belatedly - better late than never. And so are our prints, thankfully.

Yes our Prints has come. Now we are faced with another conundrum, we have so far been unable to source a certain set of props and might have to think of some sort of low-budget replacement which is going to entails me staring at a Thesaurus (well, the contents of one) to try find a solution. That's all for Last week, Internet Chums, see you on the other side of the weekend!

Checking It Twice

Welcome once again, fellow bloggers, Acting Fans and people of the internet, yep, it's Wednesday once again and this is our blog.

Once again we have been a bit busy, we have put up another Vlog video on YouTube, Number 3. WHAT?! You've not seen it yet? Hmm...ok, I'll be nice and it is under this text of which are reading for you to watch and enjoy.

Watched it? gGood. Now what else have we been doing, well, we have been putting together a Christmas list, no, no, not for Santa (though we have been exceptionally good this year) but for our next vlog. You see we have a few things in which we need to do this next vlog. In fact I think it has the most props we have every used in one go, more than most episodes. No, really it has we have about [SPOILERS] many [SPOILERS] including a [SPOILERS], [SPOILERS] [SPOILERS] [SPOILERS], [SPOILERS] and [SPOILERS] *teehee* we are so mean to you!

Well I'd best get back to the list and find some footage clips of things I need for it. 'What footage and what things?' I hear you cry out at once, then suddenly silence. Well you will just have to wait and see, we won't keep you waiting too long for it.

That's all for now folks we'll be seeing you on Friday.

Happy Birthday To WHO!

Hello there, Acting Fans, it's the weekend - and an extra special one at that! Yes, as some as you may be able to guess from our prior postings, here at H&H Productions we will be grinding to a halt this weekend for the 50th Anniversary of Doctor Who!!!

Yes, we'll be celebrating the 50 years of the triumph of Intellect and Romance over Brute Force and Cynicism, so it might look a little something like this:

Since 1963 a bedraggled anarchic alien-but-oh-so-british figure has baffled, bemused and battled to defend the multiverse on our television screens so join Vern and myself in wishing the good Doctor many regenerations more, long may he continue to transcend Time and Space. We'll see you again once we transcend this weekend, stay tuned for more updates, oh, and keep your eyes on the H&H Channel (once you've finished using them to look at the Doctor) this Monday. There just might be a little something for after the weekend.

Vloggerheads

Welcome to the midweek, fellow bloggers, people of the internets and Acting Fans, yes, it's Wednesday so you know what it's time for - let's get down to it. We have been busy this once again week down here at H&H HQ, yes, I know it's only Wednesday so how busy could we have been in just two days of a new week?

Well, we put up the 2nd H&H Vlog you the world of the internet to see, if you have not seen it, well WHY? Ok, just for you it's here just below this text. We are good to you lot aren't we?

So what, you say, that's just a bit of uploading what else have we been doing other than putting up a 2nd Vlog? We me and Chris have only once again been filming and now filmed have the 3rd blog vlog, yes, that's right - a THIRD vlog (these might even be come a regular thing at this rate)! Yes, we got the idea for this from something that has been mentioned in the media lately, all the news about a somewhat well-known film franchise doing some UK-based open auditions. And it got us thinking, especially about what H&H just might do about that.

COMING SOON!
As I said it was filming Yesterday(Tuesday 19th November) at H&H HQ to go with footage of a familiar-looking sequence (pre-edited by Chris over the weekend) and once it was shot it was rushed back the Editing Suite and edited (at the sacrifice of Chris not going food shopping, now that's dedication - don't worry though he had some fish fingers in). So it's now ready to go but when will it go up, I hear you ask, jeez, you do ask a lot of us don't you? Well it will be very soon, my pretties, soon.

That's it for now we will see you on Friday or read you it you like.

(Not Very) Dear Diary

Welcome, interneterers, fellow bloggers and Acting Fans, yep, were back for another Wednesday blog post. So sit right there and let me tell you how and what we have been doing this week!

Well it has been very busy down here at H&H HQ, yep, we have been steaming along with the Next Phase of H&H. Once again we have been busy filming. Yep, you have indeed read that right FILMING! 'But what?!' I hear you cry, well now just calm down and I will tell you. We have been filming the 2nd Actor's Log video and it was a lot of fun to do (with much laughing on set), yes, we filmed and it was done in record time too! What do you mean 'What's an Actor's log'?! It was clearly explained RIGHT HERE:

Yes, THAT Actor's Log - these are a major part of the next phase of Harcourt & Haigh, so from now we hope to get at least one of these quick turn-around short shorts on the channel a month so there's something new (and Funny, we hope) to see on the channel in between the Series and Specials being made (plus it keeps us on out toes). The very next Vlog is based on semi-true events that happened to M' colleague Chris too and, well, when I heard it I knew it just had to be a blog so we met up this Monday gone (the 11th) and got down to film, then Chris took it off to the editing suite for the cut.  Now it has been done and is ready to go. Yes, folks we filmed and edited it all within two days (we are indeed getting better at this) and I can say it came out a lot better than I ever imagined!

I can also say this is probably one of my favourites so far, of all the things we've done so far too, I so can't wait for it to go up, and when will it go up, I bet you are all wondering....well it will be soooon!

Well that's all folks.... and we will see you on Friday
