Coming Up

Greetings, Acting Fans, and welcome to this felicitous Friday. Now you may look out of your window, see the rain lashing down outside (unless you're unlucky enough to be out in it so you can feel it too) and think, what's so good about THIS Friday? Apart from the usual 'here comes the weekend' stuff, that is. Can you feel that? That something else, something in the air, a strange build up? And no, I don't mean a sudden seasonal thunderstorm. The game's afoot!
Let me tell you, loyal blog followers, as the British Summer Time does it's usual best at letting us down and dampening the old ardour (literally as well as metaphorically) we here at H&H Productions have decided to lighten things up by bring a little metaphorical sunshine into your lives and it's all to do with that BIG something our resident Big Teaser, one Mr. Vernon Harcourt, mentioned in the previous post. Today we bring you the first of those two surprises, in the form of this short trailer for the Upcoming Pilot Episode of 'Harcourt & Haigh: Actors at Large' which will look a little something like this:

That's right, Acting Fans, you've read correctly - the Pilot Episode of 'Harcourt & Haigh' goes live in exactly ONE....WEEK'S....TIME! EEK!
Can you contain yourselves? Can WE contain ourselves? Can the Internet possibly contain US?
To find out all the answers to those questions and more tune in next week to find out! Same H-Time! Same H-Channel!

Victory!

One down, only 7 to go.

Yes, Acting fans it's been a BIG weekend for us down at the Harcourt & Haigh productions studio (with us only stopping once for our tea). We have finally done it, oh yes, it has been done at last, Mwhahahahahahah! What is it that has been done? The Pilot! The pilot is done, completed, altogether, finito, finis, in the can, it’s a W-R-A-P folks. Oh yeah! Groo-OO-oovy.

And the wait and the work has been worth it, no reshoots required, as me and my learned colleague both like it (or at least like it enough that we are willing to keep our hands off it now - otherwise we could be tweaking it forever!). Now we have also started to plan out the next episode too. (Go us!)

Now back on to that something BIG again, yes, I know what you're thinking, isn't the something BIG the pilot being done? Nope, my fellow Acting fans, it is not. Well, what is it, the something BIG that is, if not that?
It’s that on this Friday, the 20th of April, something, something, something, will happen - No foolin'. Something BIG. The Countdown clock is ticking. Tee hee. Tune in then to find out what. Oooh, I'm such a tease! Bad Vern!

Onwards & Upwards

Well, Acting fans, we’ve done it! Finally, the shooting for the pilot episode is now complete (*Round of Applause*) Thank you, thank you. *Doffs hat, nods a slight bow, returns hat to head with a flourish and a snap of the brim*

Yes, it’s in the can. We spent the afternoon in the environs of Savile Park Road outside Croft Myl (now, don't look at me like that, that's exactly how THEY spell it, honest it is), former home of the Halifax Chamber Of Commerce, by a foolishly unguarded and completely innocent Fire Exit. THE FOOLS!

I must confess, Acting fans, we had our wicked way with that hapless portal of egress, using it for the exterior of one of the Pilots locations. I won't go into full details here as [SPOILERS] abound but I'm pretty sure some of the more sharp eyed of you lot will get a bit of an idea looking at the accompanying photo of me and Chris preparing our chosen victim for shooting.
So - onwards and upwards to the following episodes of the series.
We should also be editing in the next few weeks. We will keep you posted on the progress.

Oh, and people, this was not the 'something' I was on about in the last blog post. That is still yet to come. 'Bye for now.

MWAH HA HAH HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!
